Israel Just Did Something so OUT OF THIS WORLD… Iran’s Entire Leadership EVAPORATED
The Shadow Leader’s Final Rally: Inside the High-Stakes Assassination of Ali Larijani
TEHRAN — For a man who lived in the shadows of the Islamic Republic, Ali Larijani’s end was unexpectedly public.
The man many considered the de facto leader of a regime in freefall—the architect of some of Iran’s most brutal internal crackdowns—made a single, fatal calculation. He believed that the chaos of a public propaganda rally would offer him the one thing a high-value target lacks: a human shield.
He was wrong.
Overnight, a precision strike—described by Israeli defense officials as the “most significant operation” since the start of the current hostilities—eliminated Larijani and several high-ranking members of the security apparatus. The strike marks a turning point in the silent war between Tehran and the joint intelligence forces of the U.S. and Israel, signaling that even the regime’s most paranoid “shadow leaders” are no longer out of reach.

The Mastermind of the January Massacre
To understand why Larijani’s death is being celebrated with fireworks in some corners of Tehran, one must look back to the dark days of January 8th and 9th.
When millions of Iranians flooded the streets earlier this year, demanding regime change, it was Larijani who reportedly took direct inspiration from the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. His philosophy was chillingly simple: Brutality is the only currency of survival. Under his guidance, security forces killed an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 peaceful protesters in a matter of 48 hours.
As the former Secretary to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Larijani became the bridge between the aging, ailing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the street-level brutality of the IRGC. When Khamenei fell into a coma following a reported assassination attempt earlier in this war, a War Council was formed. In theory, it was a collective. In reality, it was Larijani’s regime.
The Al-Quds Day Mistake: A Propaganda Trap
For weeks, Larijani had been a ghost. When he appeared in state-run propaganda videos, he sat in near-total darkness—terrified that a single identifiable shadow or a glimpse of a window frame would give away his GPS coordinates to Mossad or CIA analysts.
But on March 13th, the regime’s need for a morale boost outweighed his personal safety. Larijani stepped into the light for the Al-Quds Day rally, surrounded by thousands of civilians.
“If the U.S. wants to strike us, they can strike us here,” the regime’s media outlets boasted, framing his appearance as proof that the U.S. lacked “air dominance.”
The Intelligence Starting Point
What the regime failed to realize was that the U.S. and Israel were never going to strike a crowded civilian rally. They were waiting for the “Tail”—the moment Larijani left the protection of the crowd.
Intelligence officers and embedded assets reportedly tracked his motorcade from the moment it left the rally grounds. The propaganda victory of appearing in public became the intelligence “starting point” that allowed drones to maintain a constant, invisible lock on his movements until he reached what he believed was a “safe house.”
The $10 Million Bounty and the “Wanted” List
In the hours following the strike, the U.S. State Department confirmed Larijani’s status as a top-tier target. On the same day as his ill-fated rally, a “Wanted” poster was released offering $10 million for information on the regime’s leadership.
Larijani was positioned prominently in the second row.
Interestingly, analysts have noted who wasn’t on that poster:
President Pezeshkian: Widely viewed by the West as a “moderate” with little real power in the military hierarchy.
The Foreign Minister: The diplomat who had been in active negotiations with Washington prior to the outbreak of war.
By excluding them, the U.S. signaled a clear strategy: they are not looking to destroy the entire Iranian state, but to decapitate the hardline security structure that keeps the current system in place.
The Butcher of the Streets: Gholamreza Soleimani
Larijani didn’t die alone. The strike also claimed the life of Gholamreza Soleimani, the General of the Basij forces. Known to Iranians as “The Butcher,” Soleimani was the man who operationalized the torture chambers and black sites that have silenced the youth of Iran for decades.
Irony is a frequent visitor in modern warfare. Only days before his death, Soleimani went on state television to mock Israel’s military capacity.
“The Zionist regime has the capability to fight for only 10 days,” he claimed, citing what he called “internal calculations.”
He was killed on the 14th day of the war—a final, grim correction to his mathematical errors.
The Festival of Fire: A New Revolution?
The timing of these assassinations couldn’t be more volatile. Tonight, Iran celebrates Chaharshanbe Suri, or the “Festival of Fire.” Traditionally, this is a night when Iranians jump over bonfires and celebrate the coming Persian New Year.
However, in 2026, the fire has a different meaning.
Reports from inside the country indicate that the regime is in a state of absolute panic. IRGC and Basij forces have been deployed to every major square, armed with live ammunition and orders to shoot anyone who attempts to turn the celebration into a protest.
“The country is at war. Do not come out,” state media blared all morning. But with the “Shadow Leader” and the “Butcher” gone, the fear that once held the Iranian street in check is visibly fraying.
